There is not one person on this earth who is any less important, or any less special than another. We are all children of the same Heavenly Father whose immense love for each of us is incomparable to any other love that we will ever experience in this mortal life.

As I come across news in social media venues about what is taking place in our world today, I become even more convinced that the handwriting is clearly on the wall. The world as we once knew it is rapidly coming to an end.

With all the chaos and confusion that is happening in our world today, it is of little wonder that so many people are asking the same questions that the disciples asked of the Master centuries ago, “Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” (Matthew 24:3).

I have decided to adopt the following as a new motto: “Anima plus est quam esse diem. Verum cum cupiam vivere incipiat qualitercumque porrexeris plenam potentiam quique ante destinatum est.” (Translation: Life is more than just existing from day-to-day. You truly begin to live when you yearn to reach for your full potential and become who you were meant to be.)

Who art thou, O’ man, that thou canst proclaim thyself to be the righteous judge of all Israel? Who art thou to sit in judgment upon the condition of the house of thy brother or sister, when it is apparent that thine own house is in dire need of repairs?

What happened to the American attitude and spirit of unity after that tragic day on 11 September 2001? Americans fell asleep and soon dismissed from their minds that the unthinkable and unfathomable had just taken place on our shores. We resolved to bond together in the midst of the crisis, but once the night had passed, we went our lives as normal.

He who dares to dream is an adventurous soul who yearns to explore the unknown to unearth treasures that will prove of immense worth to him. Through his diligence and perseverance, what once seemed an impossibility, becomes a reality.

Each of us were fearfully and wonderfully made with a specific purpose and mission in mind. Included within the makeup of each of us are the talents and abilities that the Master saw fit to include to enable us to fulfill that purpose and mission which would ultimately bring praise and glory to His name.

Intelligent people are able to hold intelligent conversations using other words than those that contain only four letters. Spewing forth four letter expletives to express oneself does not by any stretch of the imagination make a woman seem more of a woman or a man more of a man.

Loving someone goes beyond the proverbial walls and barriers that mere acceptance sometimes creates. I can love someone, but that does not in any way equate to me having to ACCEPT everything that they do or say, or for that matter, the choices that they make. They have their life and free agency, and I have mine.

Hatred towards another is a builder of walls and barriers that cause undue strife and division. It stifles any chance for reasoning and understanding and alienates love completely. It receives its nourishment from unrelenting anger and pent-up frustration and has a disdain for people in general.

It does not matter what anyone really thinks about us. They have their opinion, whether it be right or wrong. What does matter is that we know who we are, and more importantly, Whose we are. We are all children of a loving Heavenly Father. It is His stamp of approval that we should seek, and not the approval or disapproval of man.
